"PROJECT UNPLUGGED"
IS A NON-COMMERCIAL, NON-PROFIT WORK IN PROGRESSS
“Project Unplugged" will be made available to the public, through the internet, for FREE. This video documentary will be at least an hour in length. "Project Unplugged" will not be copyrighted. I am giving anyone and everyone permission to copy and place the entire completed video in their own computers and on their personal or business websites or even burn the whole project to DVD for free distribution to your friends.
The video production is on course but may be delayed due to unexpected production time and out-of-pocket espenses. Bumps in the road keep popping up and detours are constantly changing our course. However, this has all helped contribute to a final production that will be even more powerful than my initial vision of the project.
EXPECTATIONS
You can expect this video to be enlightening, riveting, and entertaining. It is designed to move along without dragging on about any particular topic. It is a video that will be full of variety.
For those who have been following this case, there will be enough new information to keep your attention, but please understand, many have still not heard the real facts surrounding Cobain's death. So, the video will weave the basics of the case throughout the project with an interesting presentation that should appeal to even the most well informed.
Here is a small sampling of what we're putting together:
1. Great background music, sketches, art, poetry and songs
2. General references to the basic outline of the evidence
3. Review of the terribly innacurate book, "Heavier Than Heaven"
4. A discussion about Charles Cross - the Author
3. "Man on the street" interviews
4. The "Trial" of Kurt Cobain
5. "Kurt Cobain speaks out!"
And much, much more
You can also expect and anticipate legal attempts to remove this project from internet websites and servers after--or possibly even before--it is released.
If that should happen, we have a back-up plan that will blow these paid-off minions and briefcase bullies out of the water.
So fasten your seatbelts and be prepared for anything.
Sometimes… "Fools Rush In"!
We began this investigation with another website, so we've actually been working on this for over 14 years now. Not meaning to sound dramatic, but we've continued moving forward for Kurt, for his fans, for the suicidal kids left thinking, "That's cool" (when it never was), and for the cause of justice. Kurt's killers must not remain free forever.
In case you weren't aware, several months ago I decided to edit "Project Unplugged" myself. This decision was made because it became impossible to embed my vision of the completed project into the eyes and mind of any other editor. Of course, we still have two narrators and dozens of other participants involved in this project, but I am doing the final editing for "Project Unplugged."
Most of you already know we've never been able to present this case to the public through television, film, newspapers and magazines without extreme censorship and consistant chopping of the most important footage to eliminate important, accurate and truthful details about the events surrounding Kurt Cobain's death. As a result, more misinformation continues to be released to the public by the media through unreliable and often "conflicted" sources.
This is finally our opportunity have an effective documentary
produced and edited where the facts and details of this case
will be represented with accuracy!
Please be reminded, I'm simply doing the job I was hired to do here. When my client didn't want me to tell the public what I knew, I wasn't going to simply keep quiet and let killers go free, especially in light of all the "copy cat" suicides.
In the past, I have not solicited donations because I've been far too sensitive about being accused of, "just trying to make money off Cobain's death." Finally, I must humbly ask for help from each of you. Donations will now be gratefully accepted, large or small.
Those who know me well understand that I don’t care about getting rich or accumulating material things. I care about being able to complete this project as close to schedule as possible, and to present the truth in a modern format, without wasting days, weeks or even months due to inadequate resources.
In order for me to free up the hundreds of hours of my time required to finish this project, I need the assurance from our moral supporters that they are there for me now as I've there for them for nearly 15 years. Many have written, "never give up Tom," or, "If there's ever anything I can do, just ask," and, "I'll do anything to help!"
